Buying a business can be a challenging, but very fulfilling experience. CBR assists Buyers and Sellers both and by offering guidance and education at every step in the process.
Most buyers find businesses that are listed and marketed on the internet, referrals from professionals or through other marketing channels. Upon an inquiry they are typically required to sign a standard "Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure" form, buyer profile and a financial statement which, in most cases, is required by the business owner.
The process of buying a business, plus the pertinent details of selected business opportunities, including financial information, are communicated to the Buyer.
Buyers will conduct their diligence on specific opportunities, and determine if the business they are researching is right for them.
CBR helps by providing guidance and advice throughout the process. If the business seems to be a good fit, we help with preparing Letters of Intent, Purchase Agreements and in negotiating deal structure. We will also assist with coordinating legal, accounting and other professional advisors to help facilitate what can be a very confusing process for some.
Even if the particular business that the Buyer was investigating is not the best fit, CBR makes very effort to understand your particular requirements and what you may be looking for. Our staff talks to a great deal of business owners and may be aware of several potential businesses that are available which aren't being actively marketed.
